It all started back in 2004 with my first site on freewebs named Popanime . Popcorn was my name anime was what the site was all about, creative aint it. Freewebs was great but I couldnt get the customization that i desired.  Thus, I combined the simple text editing of Freewebs with the customization of Geocities.  My geocity was linked to links from my site.  Looking back on those old sites brings back some memories, but alot of hard times fell on my sites. Mainly my dedication to them, for alot of online games and other things interfered with site editting.Site building back then was an off and on thing. Reviewing over my popanime site now makes me realize that the only good thing was my forum, which was the first Animadness forum.
In 2005 something happend to revoloutionize my thoughts on site design. It was at this time that I joined forces with Saiyan X (Now MohnJorrow) and his site SaiyanForce.  We worked on our sites seperately but there was alot of exchanging of ideas and I learned greatly from his site.
After both of our sites slopped and much talking was done about making a site together we finally decided to ban together to make one site.  After much argument and 100 different ways to combine Ani with other words I struck upon Animadness and the .tk was made shortly after.

Animadness.net's History
Faluire to Launch
Animadness started January 2007 as a collaboration of MohnJorrow and Myself. It began with a simple template on Geocities that was a paint modification of a halo skinned site that MohnJorrow had found while browsing the internet. I don't really consider this as a real part of the site time because neither of us really updated it much and there was really nothing there to see. The forums weren't very active but my cousin (Radman68) seems to always be around when I start up a site. After about a month of updates the site went DEAD!
The Revival
Though Animadness was dead it still had a place in me and MohnJorrow's minds. There was alot of talk of restarting it but I was never too much into updating it. After school released I had alot of extra time and I was itching to do some graphic design. I decided to make a template for Animadness.tk with a new program that I had picked up called FireWorks. It was very simple and alot of the first members know it as the White Skin. This was very simple design but it was the first big update in a long time. Everything started working out and we eventually ended up with music and manga on the site. There was no anime since at the time me and MohnJorrow both had Dial-up. The forums became a bit more active and it seemed that things were looking up. Then after discovering how to save my Jpegs in full 100% quality we overdid our banwidth for every 8 times someone came to the site. This forced me to pay for premium.
Premium FTW
After buying premium for the site we were allowed to acces alot more features for the site, but seeming I didnt have any knowledge on how to use any of the more advanced stuff I just stuck to what I knew. After upgrading to premium we decided that we also need to have an ad free domain so MohnJorrow purchased us our .net domain and shortly after came a new site template that blew everyone away. It was much more appealing to the eye and had a side nav much like the one we are using now (V4.5). This was a major upgrade and our new host allowed us to do this, but there was still a huge issue with dissalignment. If anyone used resolution over 1024x768 the site would be dissaligned. Then a solution emerged and we had one of the biggest updates ever on the site.
HTML Premeire
One day while playing with FireWorks I stumbled upon a way to make buttons and with this I ended up making a whole template and figuring out that I could export it into DreamWeaver. This lead to the HTML Premeire that launched the home page in HTML. It was the same template as 3.1 but 3.2 was in HTML and did not have the dissalignment issues. Though I was meaning to make the whole site this way It never ended up happening. Instead I ended up releasing the whole site at once in V4.1.
Version 4.1 and 4.2
V4.1 was released and had the whole site brilliantly redone with new style and new organization that made browsing alot easier. It included drop-down menus and a new table organized download selection. There was just the problem that I was using way more picture files then I wanted to get the desired effect. Since I have Dial-up this was and still is a big deal. I want the fastest load time possible.
Version 4.3 (1st Christmas Theme)
This was one of my favorite. It didn't really add alot of new features to the site but it was an eye catcher. This was a booming time for the site since we were currently in what we called "Project Upload" which was a project to upload as much media to the site as possible. During this time we got any where from 50-150 hits a day when the old norm was 0-50.
Version 4.4
V4.4 solved alot of problems I was having with the pictures and made the site look alot more professional. It implemented alot more text and alot less pictures. The Nav Bar was redone and the Color Scheme Darkened a bit. The banner changed and now had a little more effects.
Version 4.5
After much debate we finally switched hosts and now had all the space and extra features we would ever need. The only problem is that we could not host anime like first anticipated. This version implemented new forums and a completely integrated a login system. It ties in with the forums, shoutboxes, and the site itself. I could now monitor what could be viewed by registered and non-registered members and it allowed me a more accurate vision of how many visitors to the site we actually have.
Version 4.6 (Never Released to the Public)
This was my first attempt at a site redone with all the functionalities of PHP and it had its high and low points. It had alot of the featured that V5 does but it lacked the ease of use and was still using the same old tired look. It was never released to the public and was only viewed by the beta testers and myself. The reason it failed was because of the lack of PHP knowledge I had at the time.
Version 5.1 (Current Version)
This is the first attempt to use the glorious featured of PHP to make the site more managable and take a load off of me. V5 integrates php to allow the admins and mods to modify the site within ways I see fit and takes a load off me because I no longer have to be in charge of doing everything myself. I also made a template for V5 that returned us back to a top nav. It works the best with the forums and will resolve alot of the IFRAME issues we had with V4. This time was also a good time for Animadness because of the fact that the 2 affiliates joined with Animadness and lent their services to the site. (Thank you TrembleWithFear6 and Darko55)
This version also implemented CSS which also cut down on loading time. All in all its the biggest update since the sites conversion to HTML.

I thank all of you for your support through all of this it really helps and hopefully you keep supporting me as I try and make this an even better source for Anime Media.
